Tim Burton's Exhibit

My bestfriend Nina was able to hit up New York during spring break and had the amazing opportunity to check out Tim Burton's exhibit. Jealous. Jealous.

I am a HUGE fan of Tim Burton. I love the dark and bizarre aspect that he adds to everything. Which is also why even though I am creeped out by Alice in Wonderland (in general) I still felt the need to see it. I must say I am partial to his animated creations though.

Some of my faves from him: Beetlejuice, Edward Sissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Batman Returns, James and the Giant Peach, 9, and Sweeny Todd

I also appreciate his work with Danny Elfman. The man does great work.

Always been a fan of anime yet I have never been to the huge anime convention right near home at the Baltimore Convention Center over the summer. But it looks like this year, with the help of some friends, imma be able to finally go =)

My friends and I have been debating about cosplaying or not. HMMMM...

BUT!! If I do, I wanna go all out...

My bff Nirali and I wanna go as Mario&Luigi but maybe we'll just end up being "a horrible warning" haha

We've all seen really bad cosplays and sometimes it really embarrassing to witness and other people have no problem completely bashing them. And yes sometimes I make fun of them too. We all think "Oh if you dont look like them then you shouldnt do it". Well... honestly cosplaying is just for fun. No one can really look like an anime character (although some asian ppl are amazing). People dress up as their favorite characters for their own sake and fandom. Its just about enjoying yourself!

Morning Spazz

Tuesday morning of last week, my best friend and I decide to car pool together - aww how nice.

Now those of you who know me know that I am NOT a morning person at all.

Driving onto campus I glance at the clock and read 9:50am.

Me: OH MAAHH GAHHH!! ITS NINE FIFTY!!?!?? ...... NINE FIFTY!?....::frantically looks around::...HOLY CRA- oh .. oh wait... ok... nvm...::goes quiet::

Bff:: what. the. hell?

Class starts @ 10am but for some reason I thought it started at 9:30am so I spazzed out lol

ISSHIN!! I honestly can't keep up with story lines that keep dragging out. But I was super excited to see one of my favorite ex captains back in action. I actually screamed when I read this page haha. Not too sure where the writer is going with the story now but I guess I will have to see what comes out this friday.

Looks like miss Hokage decided to wake up! Honestly didn't miss her too much, forgot about her really =p Was hoping Kakashi would finally have his time to shine but I guess thats for another time ::sigh::

Red-Haired Shanks comes back! I have been waiting for him to come back since the very begining of the series ::tears:: He's such an amazing character and its quite easy to see why Luffy was so inspired by him. I wonder what Luffy's reaction will be when they reunite. Poor thing is currently in a coma =( =( I don't blame him... his brother did just die. R.I.P ACE
