Saltine Challenge

"The saltine cracker challenge or simply the "saltine challenge" is a competition in which a person has 60 seconds to eat 6 saltines (also known as soda crackers), without drinking anything; all the crumbs must be eaten too. Although the challenge sounds easy, it is actually very difficult, because the crackers quickly exhaust the saliva in one's mouth. Even though six saltines can fit in one's mouth all at the same time, and a minute is plenty of time to chew, the resulting mess of crumbs resists swallowing. One is not allowed to use any external liquid to aid in mastication" - WIKI

My coworker and I took the challenge this Friday after work. We all looked so sketchy waiting out in the back haha. I bought a huge box of saltines and about 10 of us took the challenge. It was fun. It was exciting. It was a cute way to waste time... So with Jeremy marking the time we all took the challenge of stuffing 6 saltines in 60 seconds.

Needless to say I lost (LOL) I got about 3 down... (Shame face)

We tested him again and man oh man this guy has the best facial expressions
He was making good time too.. to bad I made him laugh (smirk)

Still he made time (darn)

A good laugh though.. a very good laugh... tears and all

For those of you who prolly think this is easy - its not lol. Dont make that mistake.

Cowboys & Aliens

As usual, went out again with my movie buddy Cindy to Columbia to spend half our paychecks and go watch Cowboys and Aliens with my friend Wale. First off, I should not be allowed into any mall for the next month (spent waaaayyy too muccchhh) and Second, Daniel Craig is my hero. Cowboys & Aliens turned out to be much better than I anticipated. I used to think the title was lame. The trailer got me interested. The movie made me love it. It's definitely not the usual Western Movie - in fact the only thing "western" about it was the setting and costumes. The story was far beyond that. The Aliens weren't cheesy at all and in fact I felt both my friends jump several times (snicker). I admit there was only ONE cheesy part but I don't feel like it took away from the movie at all. I definitely recommend watching it.

Confession 1: This is the FIRST Daniel Craig movie I've seen ....
(nope - I didn't see James Bond)

Confession 2: I LOVE DANIEL CRAIG
(his unyielding swag in the movie and ultimate badassery won me over)

Solution?
Bi-Weekly sessions of pure coconut oil and regular washes with Biotene shampoo, conditioner and serum
Goal?
Get my hair back to that beautiful bollywood shine!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BFF Amina Shaiza!!! We have been friends since the day we were in the SailorMoon club (6thgrade) til’ now attending college together!♥ Pure hearted and remarkably beautiful from the core out; I’m so grateful of God to have blessed me with a friend that has taught me the true lessons of loyalty, compassion, and genuine friendship.

I can just remember the day when Amina and I were in 5th grade preparing ourselves for the MSPAP test. Amina wanted to USE the taunting powers of my amazing knowledgeable brain because I seemed like the stereotypical asian nerd.

Amina: “She seems smart. Let me copy off of her.” 
And so, it was our first time cheating on a test and a beautiful friendship…

Years gone by, and I cannot forget the days where we would walk to and from school together. We would smuggle manga books because being a nerd was UNCOOL at High Point High School. We would always choose gory actionflics over any stupid chicflic film. *gag* Laugh in the most annoying, harmonizing pitch. Pass notes during AP psychology. Go on Ninner&Aminner adventures— and getting lost in the dark alley because of my awesome sense of direction. Eating Pho Real and yogiberry on a weekly basis. Look at each other and can just tell telepathically what we’re both thinking. Make the weirdest confused face. Obnoxiously laugh til’ our stomach hurts. And of course, tell each other the honest truth, and nothing but the truth.

I know I say this a lot about all of my bestfriends, but…
friendship means a lot to me just as saying “i love you” to your lover. ANYONE can say it. And anyone can label someone your “best friend” in vain without meaning it whole-heartedly.  It bothers me when people throw that word around and then…turn out to be completely 2-faced. I only have the specific few in my life whom I’m consider dear to me…and they are the people who would never betray me.
