Those of you who know me know I love youtube artists. You don't have to be famous to be talented and amazing. The thing I love most about AHMIR is how dedicated, genuine, sincere and loving they are. They have spirit and such giving hearts. They are always involved in campaigns for those of us who are going through hard times like Chris Medina, Emily who has cancer, Pray for Japan and more. They use their music to uplift others and to give support to those who need it the most.
Im sure we all are familiar to what bullying is - we've seen it, we've felt it, we've done it. Bullying has never been okay but now a days its getting out of control. So many people are hurting. Just because you don't invovle yourself with bullying or arent being bullied doesnt mean you dont have to worry about it. I remember back in elementary school I witnessed this kid get bullied because he was gay. A bunch of boys were throwing rocks at him after school. Sadly, all I did was walk away - pretending I didn't see what was happening to him. Years later during my freshman year of high school It was announced one morning that he had commited suicide. It really broke my heart. I would have liked to blame the bullies but really ... those of us who turn face to bullying are just as guilty. We are all people and we deserve to be treated just the same as everyone else no matter our orientation, ethnicity, body shape, color, gender or beliefs.
This video was very inspiring to me and I felt very moved, really touched my heart - I love their voices and how powerful the message is - I hope more of us can help make a difference.
