As usual, went out again with my movie buddy Cindy to Columbia to spend half our paychecks and go watch Cowboys and Aliens with my friend Wale. First off, I should not be allowed into any mall for the next month (spent waaaayyy too muccchhh) and Second, Daniel Craig is my hero. Cowboys & Aliens turned out to be much better than I anticipated. I used to think the title was lame. The trailer got me interested. The movie made me love it. It's definitely not the usual Western Movie - in fact the only thing "western" about it was the setting and costumes. The story was far beyond that. The Aliens weren't cheesy at all and in fact I felt both my friends jump several times (snicker). I admit there was only ONE cheesy part but I don't feel like it took away from the movie at all. I definitely recommend watching it.
Confession 1: This is the FIRST Daniel Craig movie I've seen ....
(nope - I didn't see James Bond)
Confession 2: I LOVE DANIEL CRAIG
(his unyielding swag in the movie and ultimate badassery won me over)
