shaizamanelli: The Windy City of Chicago

Just a real quick snippet of my Chicago weekend!
I had an amazing time - escaped Irene and made the most of my long weekend
The 12 hour drive wasn't too bad
Witnessed the filming of a car commercial randomly
Saw a boat sink and about 20 police and fire trucks come with scuba gear etc.
Apparently police sirens are a common sound in Chicago
The Chicago skyline is to die for
Chicago really is a city of layers upon layers
I could walk around Chicago all day and never get bored
Chipotle in Chicago tastes different..
Definitely bring a bicycle if you plan to visit - or rent one
The people are really nice
The atmosphere is great

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago

Our hotel was located in downtown Chicago - we were able to walk EVERYWHERE it was amazing!
Chicago has the prettiest flowers all over the city.
