Celebrating Tanzania's 50th Anniversary

I was lucky enough to be invited to a dinner party in celebration of Tanzania's 50th year of independence.
The dinner was located in VA at one of the best Marriott hotels I have ever seen. Very Classy.
With only 30 mins to throw something on, I felt really under dressed when I got there.
Everyone was dressed as if we were going to some awards show - with huge gowns and sparkly dresses.
The food came out in courses and my cousin and I were so lost which order of utensils we were supposed to use lol But the food was amazing.
Sadly I did not get to meet the president this time, he left earlier in the afternoon.
Secret service was swarming the place and you needed ID to get in anywhere.
Cover to get in for the dinner was $99 a person.
The program seemed kind of unorganized but it was still nice. I loved the Music.

I wish I knew her name - but the lady in green is some super rich lady who was in Rush Hour 2 and her house was used as a set in some scene - imma have to re-watch it and be on the look out.
