" I love you man"

Why is it when two girls are really cool its considered being normal BFFs ...
Yet when two guys are really cool its considered as bromance.

Society, mostly the guys themselves, are so homophobic that even two guys who are just really good friends can't feel comfortable expressing that without putting some 'no-homo' lable or being sarcastic about it like "I love you man" and being over dramatic about showing affection so as to make things 'less gay' and awkward.

Why is it gay for a guy to care about his close friends? Why is it gay for a guy to love his best friends?

The word 'bromance' is made up with the word 'romance' (no duh) - because apparently when two guys are too close its not seen as being good friends its seen as being something romantic, unusual, awkward etc.

You don't hear people referring to two close girl friends as having a sismance!

I just think its stupid. People normally don't give a second thought to the idea behind the term 'bromance' and figure its no big deal. But the term is called what it is because society is so shallow and homophobic. Personally, I don't like the term - I feel its unnecessary.

If hes your best friend - hes your best friend.... none of this bromance crap.
