Sunday when the mini tornado/storm - thing happened I was at work. My friend recieved a text saying “tornado warning with severe thunderstorms DANGEROUS CONDITIONS AND LIFE THREATENING SITUATIONS” - like idiots my co worker and I laughed It off but as soon as we did the lights got cut and the crazy a$$ storm hit =(
With the power cut lots of customers were stuck wandering in the darkness so I quickly grabbed some flashlights off the shelves and ran through the darkness calling out to anyone who needed help. Luckily I found an old lady stuck in a back corner all alone because she couldn’t walk and she was afraid to move. So I came and got her and helped her to the front. I found several other customers in the dark as well. Running around helping people was exhilarating… the best feeling.. and the most helpful i’ve felt in a while. My mini superhero moment!
